Difficulty restarting when hot can be a sign of an intermittent bad coil
I suggest swapping out only the coil and see if that makes the issue better
If it does not I would continue trouble shooting with the new coil and once you fix the issue then swap you original coil back In
Coils gradually go bad, so i always have a known good one in the shop ready to go for tests like this.
