I will most likely order the rebuild kit from Daytona Parts Co. unless somebody has a source for a better kit.

Interestingly, When Carter filed bankruptcy, Daytona acquired Carter's entire archive of plans and drawings for every carburetor they made until their demise in 1985.

I was unaware of this.

When Federal Mogul ordered the Carter Engineering Dept to get rid of all the drawings, they did; into my van.
