Today was a VERY expensive day: I ordered a bunch of parts from LMC and CP. $1000! I took my old glass in to have new pieces recut. I thought it was quite reasonable but still it was a touch on the wallet. $440 for all 7 pieces. Got insulation for the cab. $140 (that includes a bunch of other stuff from Home Depot that doesn't count towards the truck). Got groceries. Was pretty low on milk! And then I think I broke my pinky toe but smashing it on a cart wheel with only flip flops on! I had to wrap a napkin around it as I was bleeding all over the place. Limp, limp, limp. Boy, was I mad!
Tonight's progress: Bed wood install started. Just the outer boards and bolts. Those bolts that go down on top of the spring hangar were a bear to get the nut on! I stopped for Papa's sake; he's home Saturday. Picked up and install the rear right fender after its 3rd time in the paint booth! Yeesh. Looks good now. Installed welting. Installed more sound deadener with my cat watching! It was a fun day.
