So I've become tired of fixing rust, and dealing with rust, and blowing holes in rust, and I have decided to build new running boards and splash aprons for the one ton. I have cut a 48" long piece of 10' exhaust tubing into 1/4's. This pipe has the same radius (+/- 1/16") so I will use this to build my own splash apron. It will be much heavier and may require extra bracing, but it sure beats trying to fix the bent, old, rusty ones I have. I am still waiting on getting my new boards cut and bent. I will post when I get a chance.
