Why not just drill the broken screw out and rethread the hole? It's about a 10-minute job with a center drill and a good drill press!

Hey Hot Rod....never even thought about that...I am a grelder....I grind....I weld....I grind more...I weld more...I repeat...Also I thought that the head on those screws was something special...no???
Hoping tonight tho...getting the "newport engineering" finished wiring....then trying to con the wife into helping with the windshield so then the cab will be weather tight...
Thanks for the thought tho....my mindset is order new rather than try to fix the old stuff...I can count on almost every night I work on this thing I will snap off something so then I go inside and order up another one...my patience is all but gone for this truck.....I just want it out of the garage now...the fun went away when I hit the 1 year mark on this rebuild...
