Hi Everybody...
So I received my running board brackets from Florida so I can start to hang my 1/2 ton 1 ton running boards...I learned that every single bracket was at a different angle and a different length too...I guess the 1 ton frames rails are more parallel than are the 1 /2 ton ones....
Oh yeah the fun part....I swapped out way back last winter the old school 1 ton springs that weighed a ton all by themselves and I thought I would be smart I went out and bought a pair of 1/2 ton rear leaf springs off of a 1990's Chevy pickup truck....
Running boards have no place to mount with either spring set up so I got my trusty angle grinder and cut up all but one of those 6 brackets that I got from Florida....

drivers side passenger side.... oh yeah I added a total of 4 new to me running board brackets to the truck..nothing is mounted but stuff is mocked up...running board undersides needed some trimming too....more photos to follow when I get them done hopefully early part of this week...
Still a cuttin and a fittin...
Oh yeah...cobbing up some rear fender inner brackets from a pair of 1991 Chevy S10 front bumper brackets...gotta get pics of that mess too...I have one side mocked up...
