I have been to Harry Trumans house in Independence a couple years back...my son lives in Lawrence Kansas so I fly into MCI at least once a year to see him...I am planning to move there when I get done with my stint with the county govt I work for now...

top rail is in...

Jim Carter to the rescue again...about $175.00 for cross sills and all the mounting bolts and blocks too...

front panel is now part of the rear panel

just ordered up another $400.00 for all the wood boards for the bottom with the hardware too...been a really expensive week for truck parts...

Not sure what a 1 ton Chevy (9 foot box too)truck is worth but hoping someone will want it when I am done...it should look like an old smelly truck when I am done with minor upgrades to make it more driveable.....

Cant wait to get it done...
