Still waiting for parts...did get a note from Jim Carter saying stuff is finally starting to ship...over $500.00 in parts....also while I was waiting...went to the local craigslist and found a class III hitch off of a 1990's Chevy truck...
after I took it apart..... took the side plates off as they looked kinda rusty....half a day on Sunday grinding and wire brushing and then 2 coats of rattle can grey rustoleum...
side plates Was bored again...so I bought my 3rd gallon of laquer thinner and I am actually looking at the original 1953 Chevy truck green...
drivers side.... So the muffler is on the way.....windshield motor conversion and hopefully most of the gas tank parts too....
Cant wait to get this truck done....13 months now....still sitting the in the same spot...

Anybody done the wiper conversion on one of these trucks? any insight would be awesome....
