Sawby, I wouldn't worry about the 305 blowing up, I don't think they have enough power to do that! As far as 307's go, I had a '68 307 that I bored .125" and put large journal 327 rods and pistons, and a 327, 325horse cam in and dropped it in an '81 Monte Carlo. Edelbrock carb. and intake, NICE motor! Ran great. I'd go big block, stick 4 chrome pipes out of each wheelwell, and flame it! Who says school ain't cool?
