The SBC isn't bad, when used properly. I'm building a 4-bolt main 400 for my '77 Corvette. My family has never had a major engine problem with anything from the SBC/4.3 V6 engine family.

IMO, the worst engine in GM (and maybe all manufacturers) history is the early-'80s 2.8 V6. What a POS... :mad:
