Good info, Hotrod. I plan on putting a 305 in my '64. I don't plan on hauling anything, just want something that has decent power. I plan on a mild cam to give it some sound, some flattops, and a decent intake & carb. I don't want a hotrod, I just want something with enough power to get out of its own way.

Besides, the 305 is free.
