Yeah, big block was my thought. I hate to ditch a brand new rebuild, 305 or not, but maybe I'll find a home for it on ebay. I'm thinking a junkyard 366 or 427 tall block from a slighly newer truck since it will probably mount the same way or adapt easily, and will work with the Spicer 5-speed behind it. Straight sixes are fun, but I want a little bit of giddy-up, and a V8 sound.
