I have seen guys lean on the fender and move the truck a few inches and turn the motor just alittle bit in gear. Just did not want him to think it would only go in 2 ways(as some motors do)
SAs far as the ballast resistor is use the chryler ones and never had one fail.They will fail if you leave the key on.My bet is the point also.
