Let me ask this question a couple of you refered to.On my coil it states: use with primary resistance wire or external resistor. I have the ignition wired this way, I hope it is clear.Large red wire from battery center terminal of solinoid,
also red wire from ignition running to the same lug. On the coil I have the neg side running to dist and the positive side running to the ignition. on the right side of the solinoid I have another wire running to the ignition. No ballast inbetween the ciruit??? Could this be the problem??
