I often mention that LOCATION dictates price, and did so in this thread..
Maybe if you were in L.A. or in a place with high demand and low supply due to atmospheric conditions, a truck like that might fetch close to the $2,000 range if you sat on it long enough and waited for the right buyer.. but out in Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska where the higher elevations and dry air keep this stuff from rusting much at all, it really is pretty commonplace stuff.
He mentions he's in Ault, CO.. which is exactly 142.9 miles away from me.. or less than a 300 mile round trip.
Local supply and demand do dictate the price.. but in places like where we live, where the trucks are common and demand is very low.. well.. that means low price.
