OK y'all! Got the idea now,...sounds like I've gotta get over this "must be worth $'s 'cause it's old, and the steel's solid" crap! Yes, I'm emotionally attached to the idea of saving this truck, but I'll not be too stupid about it, especially since I'm approaching him. Never a good strategy, but salvagable. I always do deals with crisp $100 bills, so I'll start small,...you all helped to give me an idea of where I should start from! Thanks! I'll keep you informed of my progress, or lack there of.
