JYF- Yup, all new parts & 4bbl clifford intake, holley 390 4bbl, fenton duals, HEI, electric fan, short shaft water pump, alternator & bracket, smittys, new clutch, ring gear, starter rebuild, etc. I was careful and thorough while selecting parts and building the engine, so this is very frustrating and leading to much self-doubt.
Just had another thought- Would an improperly installed oil galley plug cause this? Could it blow out and vent the oil pressure inside the motor?
