When my high mileage engine gets warm and I get off the freeway I am lucky to get 15psi at idle while normally it is always over 30psi. I figure the looseness in the bearings etc are causing this low pressure. Your problem might be similar and go away once the engine get properly broken in and the tolerances are a little tighter.
