Bicounty, I have not did it with a 3 speed. However, I have a 700R4 stuffed undermine and it does clear good. The set up hugs the chassis pretty good and I have at least one rod coming down to the tranny without any problems.
...be patient for a day or two I'm sure someone who has done it will chime in....or start your own, a new thread, with this question.
