The only way they will reduce your stopping distance is if you
are having problems with brake fade with your Huck brakes.
I've never had a brake fade problem with my stock '50, 3600
with Huck brakes and I drive my truck in city traffic
regularly. I'm able to lock up the brakes if need be. Of
course with the brakes locked up, my truck takes on the
characteristics of a large hockey puck on ice. And to that,
disc brakes are not anti-lock brakes so that will still
be a problem.
