My '50 3100 makes all of the noise of a vehicle coming to a full stop, just takes a while more to actually do so. I have to concentrate on leaving more space in front of me and think ahead for sideways escape routes.
I am just glad that the fit and feel of the old truck is drastically different than my other vehicles so that I don't forget which one I am driving!
EVERYONE should do what DG did and do an emergency stop in a safe place so that they know just what they are dealing with.
You really don't want to do that the first time in traffic!
