Sput, not trying to tell you something that you don't already know, but when you set up your refurbished drums and new Huck shoes, don't be surprised if the brakes act squirrely until the new shoes wear until they match the contour of the turned drums.
I have had to make 2 or 3 brake adjustments over a short amount of miles to get mine to finally act right. Now they are as dependable as any brakes I have ever had. I like to think of my drums acting as a lathe, form-fitting my shoes as I drive until they match radii (a little plural word which seems like a big word, eh?).
