Rocker connectors changed to a crimped off style in 1959. The 1959-62 style will fit the earlier engine but can supply too much oil to the top end.

So running this part will not work? I have read a few posts about this being commonly done to increase oil pressure at the rockers. My primary concern is if it lines up with the passages correctly. If it does, I find it easier to modify the 59+ part by opening it up and perhaps adding some copper tubing to let it curve as it should rather than trying to make something out of what I have.
