Tim's a knowledgeable one, and if you look at his website, there is a diagram of how the oil lubrication system on your engine works. That helped me understand what people were talking about when I was in about the exact same situation on my engine. My only problem was I didn't know what to ask or what anything was called.
Here. I'm just trying to help- I was running an engine that was not oiling properly (I'm not saying that is your case), so my expertise is in knowing what not to do to the exact engine you have; a lot more experience there than the ability to explain why you don't need to do it. Good luck!
