TIG uses pure Argon. I can't believe that you don't have a TIG yet Deve. If you get one, I'll bet your MIG will then start collecting dust. Do you have steady hands? If not, you can cheat by making sure you can support the heels of your hands as you go. The pedal takes a while to get used to, but it is what gives you finesse which other welding techniques lack.
