That is especially true if you arent using CO2/Argon gas. The worst thing you can do is try to weld with flux wire. A MIG is the best thing since sliced bread if you use the right ones. I DO want to get a TIG someday. But the most used workhorse in any automotive restoration shop is the MIG. Welding isn't easy to learn correctly, but once you get the hang of it, you want to just keep doing it!
