Thank you for responding to my post. I did not personally check whether there was foaming of the fluid. In hindsight, I would have checked it. I can only hope that the mechanic checked for foaming. I find Jerry's comment interesting. Tomorrow morning I am going to go over there when I expect they will be dropping the tranny. I will ensure that the pressure regulator valve and its housing are examined under strong light and a good lens. I am not a mechanic, but my bones are telling me that the pressure regulator valve is the culprit here. I also want to see with my own eyes that none of the check balls are missing. Seems to me that this is something that can easily happen. Gentlemen, thank you for the attention you have given me. I appreciate it. -Alden
