59ApacheGail, I, too, would like to fix that which has been good for some 50 years. But I have seen on the forums that a lot of guys swap their PG's for TH350's. My understanding is that the TH350 does not improve gas mileage or freeway speed. I can only suppose that they take the 350 for reliability or ease of obtaining parts. I do not mind trimming a drive shaft if I have to. I only wish my shop had told me from the beginning that my PG would not rebuild well. Unless.... maybe the shop itself screwed up my PG and made it necessary now for me bury her. Hmmmm.
