Well, quick update. We got the motor running! Albeit, only for a few seconds, but got it started twice.

First and foremost, son had the key in the wrong position. Lesson learned.

Second, there was a broken wire leading to the coil. I repaired that.

Hooked up the spark testing tool and had him try. Truck fired up after turning over a few times. Wasn't expecting it, so I had him kill it. We then tried it again a few minutes later and it started a second time. This time it died on it's own, I don't think it was getting gas. We took a little video that I will post up later. We are very excited!
