Restored to original style/type/spec equipment sounds right (except, we would argue over reproduction equipment meeting original specifications).
Unfortunately, if you look at trucks being sold as being "all original equipment", I bet that almost none of them are anywhere even near original "style/type" equipment. Cletis's point is almost always well-stated, especially when someone says they are doing an original r4estoration with drop axle, and/or disc brakes, and/or small block engine, and/or 12v conversion, and/or fancy radio, and/or "updated" wiring, and/or, "modern upgraded" tie-rod ends, and/or . . .
There is nothing at all wrong with any modification/upgrade - it is the owner's truck. It is just not original, nor is it original-type/style equipment.
