Screwdriver, yes. Fuel not an issue. Most of the time, the truck fires up in a split second. It'll sit all night, I jump in and she fires right up without even giving her gas. A couple months ago when this first started happening, I checked the basics first like fuel and spark.

The motor starts very quickly when jumpering the starter. Doesn't seem faster, seems the same but, hard to tell as it starts up so fast.

Do you mean after the engine has started and is running? If yes, I have 14.42 using Fluke multimeter we have at work and 14.4 using my own.

I am really curious what the readings would be with the starter jumpered out. Suppose I jumper the starter with a push-button switch or something. Turn the key and have someone push the switch while I read out? See if that voltage is being backfed and where it's going?
