Well it sure didn't take long to learn the remote solenoid wasn't the cure. Did the crank only thing again, and again, screwdriver got her started.

I just don't friggin' get it!

Just for sh!ts and grins, is there anyone out there with a '63-'66 that'd be willing to read out voltage at "S" terminal purple wire while engine is cranking, so I have something to compare to?
I've got another distributor to put in but, I just don't see the correlation. Intermittant ignition module or pick-up coil but, jumpering the starter with screwdriver makes it start?

I just don't friggin' get it!

I'm about ready to give up and take it to an electrical shop. And that just ain't right!
