Thanks again for your time and help. The gen wires are connected to the correct terminals on the volt reg. I've been mentally going over the previous hookup to see if a wayward wire is causing the problem. Don't know how long it hasn't been charging. Looking forward to finishing the other tasks on the truck so that I can devote full time to the charging circuit. I hope to replace brushes before I drive the truck to avoid possibly scratching the armature.
