I guess I must explain better. By the battery being Hot I meant It was fully charged with my charger. I used my hand held dc volt meter and I use it to make sure the battery is charged and to check the output on the gen. Does that help? Let me know if there is anything else I need to tell you. By the way the volt meter in the truck always showes a discharge, about a needles width. Even reving the engine won't move it. Thanks for the reply.
