Hi, I'm Jim, been working to restore a 53 one ton, mine has evolved from a 49 that was in pretty rough shape into a 53, since I have had to replace the cab,frame,and bed. Originally I got the truck from a gentleman in Sumner, Washington for $180.00, he was asking $175.00(just what he had into it). hardest part is keeping the project going.....just would like to add, I have some extra parts if anyone is in need, willing to sell or trade if anyone out there is looking.
