OK mine looks like like the second picture as the wires are coming out of sides and not the top as the first picture shows. Yes i have an alternator, im slow but not that slow haha. So you are you saying that the regulators were for generators? The regulator there now has wires attached to it and like I said looks identical to your picture on #2. Is this the proper set up, or could it possibly be an old set up and nactive at this point since i have an alternator
