OK guys so I find out my alternator is bad. I was looking into putting a 100 amp alternator on 59 Apache, but what is this talk about a generator??? Where is it and how do I know what ampage max it will allow? Sorry Im new to all this and never new of generators? Is this an option or a part that is mandatory and works hands in hand with alternator? I have a 283 in it, thanks to all.
