I've got a pretty good sized Lodge & Shipley lathe, and with sturdy tools and some coolant it'll really remove some metal, just guessing if I was already setup to make them (so the second one) would take a day, probably a long day. I feel pretty sure I could make two hubs in less than a week, which seems worth wile to me, but it only solves my problem, and would not be economical for anyone else.

With luck a simpler solution will present itself.
