Steve's got your answer covered.
The problem is there is no info on a single wheel 8 lug disc brake conversion if anyone has even done it.

I've got a plan (as you can see above) but I'm still not happy having to use the stock and expensive bearings. If I don't come up with any more ideas I'll just have to use them.

It'll be a while before I get back to this project, plenty of other stuff to do for the next several months or year...
