Looking at my old radio is what you are suggesting about wiring filament circuits in series doable? How about the resister between the power switch and the vibrator, is this doable? Have you ever tackled a job like this particular radio? Any suggestions since you stated that the BAR on the firewall was a definite no no?
As far as the exterior goes... I supplied the paint and had the chrome work done myself.
