Grigg that is one of the best tips yet, thank you. I checked page 4-61 and just crawled under the rear. I saw the mount and the rubber washers on the end seem okay - a bit dry and dirty - but not crumbling anywhere. I cannot see the rubber bushing because of its location in the bracket.
The manual suggests one method of recentering or realigning the bushing but I think I will use your idea to see if there is movement in that area. As it sits the bolt seems centered, the whole unit seems to be fine because there is dirt/dust around the unit with nothing seemingly disturbed or out of kilter.
Are these bushings available to the best of your knowledge?
