As I mentioned before, I've been driving these mid sixties trucks as daily drivers for 20 years, and they are extremely dependable. I had over 300,000 miles on my first one when the 250 inline six finally needed to be replaced. I was able to get another engine at the boneyard for $200.00, and was back on the road in three days. Try doing that with a newer one.
