Welcome to the 'bolt!
Here's my take on this;
Take what you'd spend to buy just a decent late model truck,spend 1/2 of that amount restoring your '65;paint,seat belts,some patch panels,A/C,stereo,maybe even power steering and disc brakes,and spend the other 1/2 of the money driving and enjoying your REAL truck. Tab has it right-with a late model you'd never hear anybody say"Wow-what a cool truck!!"when they saw it. Even my beat up old rust bucket trucks get more good comments than my friends new Silverado,but I'd rather drive my old paid for beater than a new "belly button" truck any day.
