The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area General Truck Talk '65 Chevy vs. new truck..should I do it?

I paid $1000 for an old man's 64 a year ago, spent a month & $500-750 on brakes/rubber,clutch, radiator, etc., I have driven it daily almost a year now, 10,000+ miles-only issue was a fuel pump, the rocker pin came out, pushed it back in drove home, replaced pump later. Never fails to start unless I forget to choke it on cold mornings, gets 16+mpg(best has been 18.5!).
Stillookin, put them in the bed! Here its legal for them to ride in the bed of a truck, but they gotta be belted inside. :confused: Brian
