Go for the old truck!

There are not many 20 year-old-trucks worth anywhere near $5,000 today. But a new one will cost at least $20,000!

But if you spend that same $20,000 on the old truck, it may still only be worth the same $5,000 20 years from now, but it will have the memories associated with your dad, and that will be priceless!
