I did the later model truck/suburban while owning a couple early 60's Caddys. I like the feel of the older rides. After totaling the burban, I opted for a 64 C10 while doing the minor work to get it road worthy, I stumbled upon a pic of a 65 Crew Cab. I went on hunting for a few years till I found my daily driven 64 C20 Crewie. Will not regret goin with this rig. Rare yes & guys with the NEW truck are always asking questions or making offers to buy it. Its rare and it runs fine with a sb350/th350 combo. Some of the new truck try to tease on the highway. I can keep up with and a times pull away from them!
Stay with the 65! Better to one of a kind than one of a crowd. And you will save yourself a ton of $$$$$
