When I first read this topic before anybody replied I said to myself "boy, this is gonna get off topic" ...It's your truck you do what you want. I like what Jeff said about don't do anything to irreversable. Also what DJ said, "us original guys are just saving them so our grandkids can rod them later". True true. You have to go all the way or not at all, you lose to much money by not finishing you dreams. Do what you want. To lower it 8 inches or so, $ and lotsa time.
