No, a buddy of mine had a 94 Silverado w/shaved doors. You leave the window down & open it from the inside handle because the remote electric solenoids quit working about 3 months after installation. His truck also had a string hanging down on pass side for emer opening. Or you can put buttons on the back of the cab like one truck I saw, then when you go thru driveways & the frame flexes the bed would pop the door buttons! That truck also had the tampon string out the pass door. Cool!!!! Brian
