If he has to ask how to do it then he probably has no clue as what would be a safe way to do the mod. His profile says he is a hot rod fabricator but that remains to be seen.
My $0.02 would be to fix everything else on the truck to make it safe and reliable then you should have enough experience and knowledge to know what to do next.
