LeeD Don't let all that conversation change your mind the alternator system is great ! Read-up on it you can do it.Not a56 guy so can't remember if you have an ammeter or a light,if indicator light use 3-wire alternator ,if ammeter use 1-wire or could install aan ammeter if you don't want the light. Plenty of info on the stovebolt to helpyou with this !! Good Luck !!
